Her education and work experiences has led her to various industries which include higher education, biotechnology, retail, media, and real estate. It has given her opportunities to work alongside some of the most inspiring and driven individuals in their fields.
Anne has been a freelance writer and photographer for local and national publications for almost 20 years and her work has been published in The Flint Journal, Detroit News, Detroit Live, and Maximum Yield. She has traveled the country, covering large production musical festivals to national cannabis conferences including the National Cannabis Industry Association, The Cannabis World Congress and Business Expo, and MJBizCon. Locally, she has been involved with the Michigan Cannabis Business Development and MI Legalize and has collaborated with business owners and other industry professionals to promote cannabis education, advocacy, and business development.
She became a real estate agent in 2018 and continued to work in the cannabis industry helping licensees secure properties for their cannabis facilities and establishments here in Michigan. “It’s not just about selling land or buildings. Understanding the goals and vision of my clients is important and matters when it comes to finding sites and investment opportunities for their businesses.”
Anne joined The Law Offices of Barton Morris in 2022 as Marketing Director and has since shifted to Business Development within the Cannabis Legal Group and as a commercial real estate agent with CLG Realty Advisors. She dedicates her time and efforts to building relationships with clients and helping them achieve their business goals. She regularly attends cannabis conferences and is active within the business community and organizations. When she manages to step away from the office, Anne continues to travel throughout the county as a photojournalist producing work both in the cannabis and music industry.
